Run to Win
Wow, what a year!
It was a tremendous blessing to see God at work in our county throughout the 2015-2016 school year. It is only by God’s grace that I am able to serve our community as a worker for God’s Kingdom through the ministry of FCA.
During this year, God blessed us with tremendous growth both in numbers and in depth across our county. I was able to witness students experiencing the adventure of knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior and serving Him in their schools.
I first came to know about FCA in the fall of 1998 as a sophomore at Palm Bay High School when a guest speaker came and shared with our football team. In a fleeting moment in that old cafeteria I remember thinking to myself, “how cool it would be to be the FCA guy.”
As I continued in my curvy path of life this thought would resurface from time to time, but without any real consideration until the summer of 2013. It was at this time when I was feeling God tug on my heart about leaving the field of education, a job that I loved, and serving Him fulltime. As part of His plan at this time, Mr. Wave Robinson and Jason Schack took me to lunch to cast the vision for the potential for FCA in our community. As a result of God’s calling and that lunch meeting I have the humbling, undeserving privilege and honor of being called the “FCA guy” here in our community.
